Adjusted Documentation Fees

Dear Valued ONE Customers,

We are writing to provide clarifications and modifications to our updated documentation fee structure for all North America (US and Canada) exports, which will go into effect on November 1, 2026:

We understand the current loading challenges faced by the industry, and while accurate and timely Shipping Instructions (SI) remain critical to ensuring smooth cargo loading and customs clearance, we are relaxing certain conditions to better support your operations.    

• Clarification regarding Insufficient Fee (ADB) / Late Document Fee (LDS): 
  • A comprehensive list of required elements can be found below on page 2 of this advisory.
  • Container and seal numbers are not required until 24 hours after the documentation cutoff. 

Please be advised that this grace period does not exempt customers from rolled cargo or customs penalties if we are unable to meet required regulatory submission deadlines.   

• Modification to the B/L Amendment Fee (BAO): Under our updated terms, Shipper is entitled to one free B/L amendment following the issuance of the draft through the day of sailing. 
  • Subsequent amendments will be subject to standard fees of $60 per instance through the date of sailing or $120 per instance beginning the first calendar day after sailing
     
• All other fees and guidelines outlined in the original advisory remain unchanged.

Required items which should be submitted by the documentation cut off:  

• Name and address of Shipper
• Name and address of consignee and notify party
• Place of Delivery of cargo
• Port of discharge of cargo
• Description of cargo, including piece count, package type, weight and 6 digit HS code for each commodity and container
• AES Shipper's Export Declaration Citation or Canadian Export Reference number (CERS)   based on port of load
• Payment terms
• Any other piece of information such as, but not limited to,  tax ID, extended HS code,  cargo value, etc., as required by the shipment route
