SX1 (East Coast South America Express 1) Service Update: VESSEL ESPIRITO SANTO EXPRESS - INCIDENT UPDATE

Dear Valued Customer,

Ocean Network Express (ONE) would like to provide you with an update regarding the fire on board ESPIRITO SANTO EXPRESS (the "Vessel"), deployed on the SX1 service, which broke out on 15 October 2026.

ONE has been informed by the Vessel's Owner that they expect the vast majority of the cargo to be either severely damaged by the fire or a total loss.

ONE understands that the fire is, in the meantime, under control. However, it will take considerable time to bring the Vessel into a Port of Refuge and assess the damage in more detail.

We sincerely regret this development and understand the uncertainty it causes regarding the status of your cargo.

Once the Vessel arrives at the Port of Refuge and the initial inspection and assessment are completed, we will provide a further update.
