To support the peak cherry season, temporary changes to the port rotation and sailing speeds were implemented, providing an express connection tailored to the time-sensitive nature of cherry shipments.

Supporting the journey with Cold Treatment (CT)

Getting cherries to market is only one part of the journey. For shipments requiring Cold Treatment (CT), meeting the prescribed treatment conditions throughout transportation is essential to comply with the quarantine requirements of applicable destination markets.

ONE’s COOLTemp solution provides a customized in-transit handling process to meet specific Cold Treatment protocols. During the treatment, temperature probes installed at different locations within the reefer container continuously measure and record the pulp temperature of the cargo, supporting precise temperature control throughout the required treatment period.

By carrying out Cold Treatment while the cargo is in transit, COOLTemp supports applicable quarantine requirements while cherries continue their journey to market.

Greater visibility along the way with CONTAINER+

Alongside temperature management, shipment visibility provides customers with greater transparency while their cargo is in transit.

With CONTAINER+, customers can access near real-time information on their reefer shipments, including location, temperature and other key shipment data.

For cherry exporters, this provides greater visibility of their cargo during its journey from Chile to destination, complementing the reefer solutions supporting the shipment.
