Ocean Network Express (ONE) is pleased to announce our renewed commitment to the East Coast South America Express 1 (SX1) service, delivering enhanced reliability and comprehensive coverage across the trade lane. 

Commencing in April 2027, ONE will operate the SX1 service in joint operation with Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). This optimized operational setup is designed to enhance schedule integrity, optimize transit times, and provide robust, direct coverage between major Asian origins and South America’s East Coast. 

Key Service Highlights:

Direct Gateway Access: Direct calls to major South Brazil gateways, including Santos, Paranagua, and Navegantes, alongside River Plate calls in Montevideo and Buenos Aires.

Enhanced Schedule Integrity: A streamlined joint operational structure focused on delivering high reliability and fixed-day weekly sailings. 

Comprehensive Regional Coverage: Expanded connectivity linking key Asian origins directly to strategic South American trade hubs.

SX1 Service Details

Rotation (tentative): Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Hong Kong – Singapore – Santos – Paranagua – Navegantes – Montevideo – Buenos Aires – Rio Grande – Paranagua – Navegantes – Santos – Singapore – Hong Kong – Shanghai (subject to further operational review)
