Employer Value Proposition presents an excellent opportunity to showcase the possibilities present in ONE and pave the way for others to develop and grow in the organization.
During the pandemic, while adapting to virtual operations, we coordinated the return of over 100 containers from China to Ecuador for a single customer. Close cross-team collaboration, clear communication and constant monitoring, ensured timely returns with no delays.
Gaining exposure to new business models and receiving guidance from experienced mentors has been instrumental in advancing my professional skills and shaping my career development.
ONE’s People-First commitment goes beyond words. When I expressed interest in container management, my manager supported me in pursuing the IICL certification, usually reserved for senior roles. That trust fostered my growth, expanded my skills, and motivated me to take on more in vessel operations.
I really appreciate being part of an organization that prioritizes diversity, respect, and camaraderie, not just in words, but through real action. In a fast-evolving and digitalized industry, it's meaningful to see a strong commitment to a people-centric culture.
The SAIL apprenticeship program played a pivotal role in shaping my career. Despite graduating in a different field, it sparked my passion for shipping and provided a strong operational foundation. Five years on at ONE, I now solve complex customer challenges while continuing to grow.
To me, respect and teamwork at ONE begin with understanding each other’s roles. During the SAP BRIM implementation, close cross-team collaboration deepened that understanding and reflected the “As ONE, We Can.” mindset through mutual learning and support.
