ONE Mission: Zero Emission

Maritime transport accounts for a significant 2-3% of global GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions.

That is precisely why innovation in this sector will have a major impact on the world. ONE strives for net-zero GHG emissions. And beyond that, a future we call Zero Emission. By setting and pursuing this higher goal, we can accelerate progress. This is our commitment to lead the world in sustainable container shipping.

We are driving this forward through five key initiatives: Green Investment, Alternative Fuels, Carbon Management, Operational Efficiency, Community Ecosystem Building. To achieve this, we must leverage collective wisdom with partners, breaking down barriers between companies and across the industry. The spirit of "As ONE, We Can" is the most important driving force.

Green Strategy

In April 2022, ONE announced our new Green Strategy. ONE's Green Strategy sits at the top of our management agenda, as does our commitment to achieve net zero by 2050, thereby playing an important role in global environmental conservation.

Sustainable Shipping Solutions

ONE engages with the customers as we encourage them to join us on our decarbonization journey. In support of our customers’ climate goals, we launched shipping solutions such as ONE Eco Calculator and ONE LEAF+ (Low Emission-Able Freight). Internally, we also established the Environmental Management System, to serve as the backbone of ONE's environmental protection plan, where all employees were guided and trained.
